It isn't clear if the Ookla map is showing actual completed installs, or planned installs. When I found the Ookla map, it shows three new 5G TMO towers, one only 2 blocks away. Anyway, they both intend to get new 5G phones but it still didnt' seem that was going to help their tower distance issue.
I think her older phone doesn't even have b71 which would help.
My Sis-in-law says she has to use the phone's wifi mode to get and make calls.
